After you’ve found your perfect dress it’s time to decide what your ride or dies will wear standing next to you on your big day. Bridesmaid dress trends come and go while some are around for the long haul. Rocky Mountain Bride is combining our favorite trends new and old that we think will be a big hit in the upcoming 2022 wedding season!
White
We know the cardinal rule of a wedding is for the bride to be the only one in white, but the color white for bridesmaid dresses has become a modern wedding staple. The color white brings such a fresh crisp look to the bridal party. We adore how our very own Content Curator, Lauren, incorporated the white bridesmaid dress trend in her luxe modern wedding.

Blush
The color blush is such a great accent color for bridesmaid dresses as it adds color, but is still simple and elegant. Blush is also a great transition color that can be mismatched with a variety of colors if you wanted to go for the mismatched look. Blush is a great choice for a spring or summer wedding as its pairs well with the wildflowers that start to bloom.

Mismatched
The trend these days is that we are seeing brides fit their tribe in different dresses instead of the same dress. This allows for your bridesmaids to choose something that they feel comfortable in and that flatters their body type, it also allows your ladies to choose a color that compliments their skin tone. We love this bridal party outfitted in different jewel tone dresses that matched the bride’s choice of flowers.

Light Blue
Light blue is becoming more and more popular with brides these days, it’s a universal color that can be worn any time of year. Another benefit of choosing light blue as an accent color for your wedding is that it pairs well with light pinks, deep reds, and other shades of blue and purple. It can also double as your something blue!

Another version of this trend that we are seeing more is incorporating some of your bridesmaids in patterned and floral prints in different shades of blue like this bride did in her classic Vail wedding.

Warm Tones
Colors like yellow, amber and red are becoming a huge trend that we are seeing. These colors especially pop if you’re having a fall wedding. Your tribe will beautifully complement the changing leaves and warm colors of fall.
