Bold and Glamorous I Do’s at Eldorado Inn and Spa

New Mexico Wedding

When I met Macey and Ben, I knew this would be one for the books. They were kind, and clearly in love, but they honestly had me a little intimidated because they were just so…. cool! They wanted to “cut the cheese” instead of “cut the cake”. I was in awe!  Designing for events at the Eldorado Inn and Spa always puts me on cloud 9 because it gives an elegant white marbled blank slate. Seriously. Any planners dream! I wanted to make sure I captured the edgy style of the couple but also didn’t lose the warm and caring feeling they give off. I set the bar pretty high for these two, and they threw me a curveball when they chose red, greenery, white, cream, and black as their color scheme. Don’t get me wrong, it’s gorgeous, but it can so easily lean… Christmas. After several hours of mood boards and research, we found a base, and I could not be more thrilled with the way it turned out. With the jaw-dropping floral skills of Rebecca from Bloomstream, untouchable work from the cuties at Shutterfreek Photography, and the pure style of the couple, this wedding will be one of my favorites for many years to come!
