The wind and rain was just ripping through the canyon and with the weather being as bad as it was, this shoot could’ve been cancelled. We had already cancelled it once already due to the heavy smoke, but we were determined to make it happen this time. And thank goodness it happened! There on the cliff, the wind was ripping through the canyon. The energy was absolutely tangible. Tracy gets down on one knee and holds out Bethany’s ring to her. The world just stops. Just stops. The wind feels like it was frozen in place and it was just these two in the world together. Everything else just disappeared and it was just the two of them. It was one person asking another person for their hand in marriage. One person asking another person to be married forever. To be their person. Capturing the two of them on this mountain and in this moment was magical. It was electric.
