Danielle and Scott hit it off walking down the aisle on New Year’s Eve in 2019. After a whirlwind weekend, where Danielle’s cousin married Scott’s best friend, the two were inseparable despite Scott living in Ann Arbor and Danielle living in Chicago. After quarantining together at the start of the pandemic at Scott’s family cabin in Northern Michigan, Scott knew she was the one and moved to Chicago in the summer of 2020. In February 2021, on a trip to pick up their new puppy, Scott proposed at the cabin where they’d spent months falling in love.
