Black Tie Elopement Inspiration

Idaho Styled Shoot

The Inspiration

This is a styled shoot, in order to bring more content of elopements to the Idaho area. Elopements have not been extremely popular here in Boise, and my goal is to change this! This is a real couple, and they are absolutely stunning. We had an hour together in the capitol building to pull this shoot off, and every legislator, lobbyist, and security guard who walked past us congratulated the couple and commented on how cute they are. This brings joy to my heart, especially in a time when interracial couples are feeling less celebrated. My vision for this shoot was simple: black tie inspired elopement. So many couples want to embrace their large weddings and keep pieces of it when transitioning to their elopement during COVID, and I wanted to show off a way to do that: orchid and peony blush bouquet, a sleek mermaid satin gown, and a black open collar suit. I wanted to demonstrate how courthouse elopements can be just as glamorous as a 300 guest wedding!
