I dreamt up this winter wedding inspiration while planning a snowboarding trip to Big Sky, Montana. Our sweet friends, Justine and Pat, were kind enough to stand in as models for this jaw-dropping and beautiful shoot. We had an incredible team of local vendors from Bozeman contribute their talents and time to this shoot. The staff at Big Sky was kind enough to ski lift us up to the Everetts 8800 lodge to shoot in a blizzard. We photographed around the lodge, which is an incredible wedding venue with expansive views. Justine and Pat are avid snowboarders, so it was exciting to work on a ski slope as riders whipped past. The snow flurries made for magical images.
I enlisted the help of my friend, Kate Yenrick, to create an invitation suite for the shoot. The suite perfectly captures the wild and whimsical nature of the shoot, styled with white ring dishes to mimic the snow and florals used in the bouquet.
