Bellevue Farm Engagement

It was a Friday night in early June and we had dinner plans with some good friends. After dinner, I went to my best friend’s house to borrow some clothes for the weekend! I told Dan, “Sorry babe I gotta stop by, but I’ll hurry home!” He laughed knowing when I said “I’ll hurry” it meant I wouldn’t be home for a couple of hours! When I finally got home around 11:00 PM, he was outside on our patio with a bottle of wine, a fire going, and our favorite Pandora station “Hayes Carl” playing.

We were relaxing and just enjoying each other through the campfire smoke talking about all the weddings we were to attend that summer. He then got down on one knee and said a lot of sweet words, but basically to the point of babe let’s talk about our own wedding. To top the night off there was an event that set off fireworks about 15 minutes after! We were both surprised to see them!
