Anthony and I, Lacee, met back in 2015 in Grand Junction, Colorado, my hometown. Anthony had recently moved to Grand Junction for a new career after graduating Colorado School of Mines while I was still in my Sophomore year of college at Colorado Mesa University. We had our first date at Red Mango, sharing frozen yogurt and connecting immediately. It started out as a friendship, but quickly turned into more. After many adventures including traveling, buying a house, adding another furry baby, moving to Denver and many other memories, Anthony finally popped the question after four and a half years together. The proposal was at Bison Reservoir a very special location for both Anthony and I.
Fast forward to the best day of our lives, June 5, 2021, at Bella Bolettino Farms in Palisade, Colorado. I had dreamed of a wedding in the breathtaking orchards and vineyards that Palisade is best known for. This dream became reality with all our family and friends surrounding us with love on our special day. The day started with scorching sun and worry our guests may have heat strokes. However, right before walking down the aisle the clouds came in and we were graced with a light sprinkle of rain to make it the perfect weather. This rain led to the most beautiful rainbow later in the evening. We were honored to have had the vendor team that made the day go so smoothly and honestly we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
