A Midsummer’s Evening Badlands Engagement

Love Story

Patrick is an engineer in oil & gas and Teagan is the owner of Imber Boutique in Calgary. They met at a mutual friend’s housewarming party in the spring of 2015 and hit it off immediately when Patrick won her over with his endless jokes. Patrick and Teagan’s (now 9-year-old daughter) became best friends right off the bat, so it was no surprise that he would include her in the engagement process.

While the three of them were in Las Vegas last February for Marley’s cheerleading competition, Patrick proposed to both lucky ladies on top of the Eiffel Tower Experience overlooking the city. Teagan’s beautiful ring is an oval cut diamond set in a simple gold band from Alberta Diamond Exchange in YYC – EXACTLY what she dreamed of. Marley also got a beautiful ring featuring two precious hearts. Both girls said “Yes!” and the rest is history.

Teagan was looking for a unique engagement session location and was thrilled when Justine suggested the Badlands just days before their scheduled shoot. It was so much fun to drive out after work on the beautiful summer night and spend the evening celebrating our love and excitement for the future together!
