Colorado Engagement

“Proposal Story”

Amanda and Dan, both New Englanders, moved to Colorado the same exact week in 2017. They met shortly after at a beer and run club and become basically inseparable from that point on. They declared this summer (2019) the “Summer of Colorado”, in attempts to explore all the wonderful corners of their new home together. One of their planned adventures was to Salida, a small under-the-radar mountain town, for Amanda’s birthday. It was on this trip that Dan ultimately “popped the question” amidst miles of sand, at Great Sand Dunes National Park. Amanda innocently thought she was opening a birthday present until she unveiled an Anna Sheffield box, a designer special to them both. Upon seeing her shock, Dan finally found his words and asked “will you marry me?” and Amanda, of course, said “YES!”
