The shoot took place at Rembrandt Yard Art Gallery in June 2018, followed by a golden hour session up Flagstaff mountain in Boulder. Our brides are engaged to be married in September 2018 and this pre-wedding styled shoot was a dream to pull together. I assembled a powerhouse vendor team of (mostly all) women-owned, local businesses in the Boulder/Denver area.
My goal was to create a timeless yet current vibe incorporating a soft summer palette with a contemporary feel. I was very intentional with every element I chose to create a romantic, feminine cohesive look- from the dresses, hair/make up to the tablescape design, florals/bouquets, and jewelry.
The brides’ names are Roz Vara (brunette) and Lauren Good (blonde) and their love and commitment to one another was astounding to witness. Despite this being a styled shoot, all of us women were gathered around them tearing up as they were photographed.
Roz and Lauren are adventurous spirits embracing all the Colorado lifestyle has to offer. They are lovers of travel, backpacking, nature and live music. Their union truly embodies the pure essence of love is love. We adore them and felt beyond fortunate to peer into their partnership and feel the tender love they hold for one another.
