Adventurous Mountain Elopement Inspiration

This is our adventure mountain themed styled shoot at Watersprite Lake, BC which summits to 1,810m! I came up with the vision for this project a few years ago and wanted to do something unique that no one else was doing, which combined my passion of capturing amazing wedding footage fused with the outdoors, hiking & camping. It took some time to find the right vendor team and models that would be capable of an endeavor like this, as the team had to have unique qualities to pull this off. The hike up included heavy lifting of all of the decor, including a rustic tent weighing over 50lbs, and all of our camping gear up a 700m vertical gain to base camp and spanned over two nights. We did not want to include the use of helicopters or anything that would make it too easy. We wanted to get to a peak that no one has shot footage at like this before. We hope this adventurous mountain elopement inspires your upcoming Rocky Mountain “I Do!”
