Kristen + Josh
Kristen and Josh knew that they wanted their wedding day to focus on their love for each other while feeling like they were the only two people in the world, so they chose to elope in a remote location in the mountains outside of Telluride. We started the day with an epic jeep ride with Alpine Scenic Tours out of Ouray which took us to the top of the mountain where we found the perfect spot for the ceremony situated at roughly 12,500 feet.
Kristen + Josh decided to have their first look at the top of the mountain so using the jeep as a barrier, Kristen put on her amazing Rue de Seine dress hidden away from Josh who was suiting up on the other side of the Jeep, which actually ended up being one of my favorite shots of the day!
We walked out to the ceremony spot and found ourselves completely surrounded by mountains and in one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have been a part of, Kristen & Josh married themselves (you can actually do that in Colorado!) and celebrated with an iconic champagne toast.
They signed their marriage license on the hood of the jeep and they shared their first dance as the sun stared to go down behind the mountain peaks. As if the day couldn’t have been more perfect, we took out the cake that made the journey up the mountain with us (and it still looked beautiful) shoutout to Fig & Bloom out of Telluride for this gorgeous cake, and as dusk began to set we made out way back down the mountain with our wind blown hair and full hearts.
