Sandy + Justin
Sandy and Justin originally had big plans for their wedding day, but after multiple cancelations due to Covid, they decided to take their moment into their own hands. Justin and Sandy have always been avid outdoorsmen who have an intense love for nature. Through their admiration of the mountains and outdoors, their love blossomed into the relationship it is today. This lead to their adventure elopement in Stanley, Idaho. When choosing a location, the view was the most important part. Sandy and Justin envisioned mountain peaks and crystal waters and Redfish Lake did not disappoint. The day started off with 70% chance of rain, so a 6 a.m. phone call about a last minute tent rental was a detail the couple had definitely not envisioned. Sandy and Justin started their journey into marriage with a private first look and hike at Bridal Veil Falls trailhead with their dog of honor, Charley. The weather magically stayed at bay for the couple as they shared their last adventure together before becoming man and wife, whilst it snowed, hailed and rained at their reception site. The mountain visibility was grim as the clouds rolled in from the rain, but almost like some divine intervention the sun broke through the clouds just as the couple arrived allowing them a breathtaking ceremony by the waterside. After reciting their personal vows and shedding a few tears, the intimate wedding party and newly declared husband and wife, took to the shore to snack on charcuterie and partake in light libations at their camping inspired reception. The site was complete with lanterns, flannel blankets and personalized camping mugs.
