Love Story
Cortnie and I met in seventh grade. We had similar friend groups all through junior high and high school. I asked Cortnie to senior prom, and the rest is history. I took Cortnie to a slot canyon in Goblin Valley, and I rappelled down first. As she rappelled to the bottom, I got down on a knee and asked her to marry me.
We love exploring the red rock in Southern Utah. After we became engaged in Goblin Valley, it just made sense to get married there. We had Cortnie’s Uncle officiate our ceremony. As we said our “I do’s” I remember looking into Cortnie’s eyes and being happier then I’ve ever been before. When Cortnie and I started dating, I would give her a hard time about her Chacos. We both had a pair and that was one of the first things we bonded over, so we ordered custom Chacos and got married in matching Chacos.
