Whether you want to make a statement with your accessories or just want to add some subtle sparkle, jewelry can add the perfect finishing touch to your wedding day look. When choosing your accessories, you can either get creative or stay true to your style so that you won’t look back and regret your choices. To help inspire your bridal style, we’re sharing a few of our favorite ways brides have incorporated fun pieces into their wedding day look!

Shine like a diamond!

Looking to add some sparkle to your wedding day look? We’re here for it! After all, it is your day to shine like a diamond!

We love a pair of sparkly drop earrings like the bride below wore. The stunning earrings added the perfect amount of drama to contrast her simple wedding gown. The bride also wore a matching gold and crystal hairpiece that resembled three vines sweeping through her hair.

Earrings: Anne Bé Denver | Hair Pin: BHLDN | Engagement Ring: James Allen | Wedding Bands: Hyde Park

Make a bold statement!

We love when the bride’s personalities are expressed through a bold statement piece. It can be earrings, a necklace, you name it!

This Utah bride went with a southwest theme and wore a turquoise necklace from her grandmother for her Moab wedding. The contrast between the orange sand and the white dress with the blue pop is simply stunning.

For a more subtle statement, opt for a pair of fun and funky earrings like this Idaho bride. Their backyard wedding had a spunky element to it and these earrings matched it perfectly. Think hoops and drop earrings with fun designs in rose or yellow gold.

Tip: Mixing metals is ok and very popular right now! Don’t be afraid to have fun with your accessory combinations!

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue

Accessories are the perfect place to incorporate something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue!

Have your grandmother’s ring or pearls? We love when brides incorporate vintage pieces from within the family to add that personal touch and honor those that came before you and brought you to this day. For their elopement, featured in our Glacier Wedding Guide, Marshall proposed to Allie with her late grandmother’s ring after only dating for a little over a month, like they say, when you know you know.

This Colorado mountain bride received a special gift from her fiancé on their wedding day, a thin wedding band that had both diamonds and blue sapphires, perfect for her something blue. The bride adorned the ring on her right-hand ring finger to finish off her wedding day look. Since we are in Virgo season, the birthstone for the month of September is blue sapphire, perfect to honor the traditional something blue and your birthstone all in one.

Simple, yet stunning!

Simple can be stunning! While we love a good statement piece and sparkle, sometimes less is more. A simple pair of diamond or pearl earrings or a dainty necklace can really pull together a look without taking away from the dress. Simple is even better when highlighting a certain feature of your dress. This Utah bride opted for a long necklace that went down her back to accentuate her low back dress. Sexy, simple, and subtle!
