Aesling is an up and coming Vancouver-based bridal wear brand that is paving the way for many others to follow suit. With a focus on sleek simplicity, Aesling offers styles that are minimal with natural silhouettes. Each piece is delicately designed and made-to-order, ensuring that the uniqueness of every bride is taken into consideration. The designs merge form and architecture, creating a true work of art with each and every gown.
We’re here to bring some spread some good news Aesling has just launched its 2023 collection, its fourth collection and the most customizable of them all. This new release features detachable elements, a new liquid satin fabric and various fits for women of all sizes. The launch communicates that anyone has access to beautifully designed bridal gowns, setting the tone for the bridal fashion industry and many other fashion labels. On top of this, each dress is named after an influential female architect, from Willis to Morgan.
For those who are curious, there is an eight-month design process that goes into the construction of every gown. Gaby Bayona, Founder and Creative Director of Aesling, explains that the goal is to “create striking, dramatic gowns that never sacrifice on comfort and that always feel uniquely you.” This means including sizes from 0 to 26, a range that is not necessarily easy to come by in any capacity.
If you’re looking for a dress that’ll make you feel as if you’re in Taylor Swift’s Love Story, then the Bardi or the Marion (Bishop Sleeve) are for you. Into more of a modern and sleek look? We suggest the Merrick, Morgan or Marion (Sleeveless). These are all fresh takes on the traditional wedding dress, and we love them! Who knows, with an Aesling dress, it may become a family heirloom that is passed on for generations.
