It is safe to say that planning a wedding can be very stressful and overwhelming at times. From sorting out the little details like deciding on silverware, to locking down the venue of your dreams, weddings are an amazing journey. My husband and I chose to have a vineyard wedding in Buhl, Idaho when COVID-19 caused us to cancel our wedding in Hawaii. Our mid-July wedding date called for an extremely warm day with a beautiful sunset. A few things that we thought were important to us on our wedding day were family, good food, pretty flowers and music that our guests would enjoy. All of my vendors pulled through and made our wedding such a beautiful day to remember. Some things were exactly how I envisioned them and others turned out even better. We chose to stick with a very traditional wedding and do a ceremony followed by a reception where we did everything from the first dance, cutting of the cake and throwing the bouquet and garter. My advice to any couple planning a wedding would be to give yourself time to plan and to prioritize the things that are important to you on your special day.
