SKYLIGHT is also located in the Santa Fe Arts District with plenty of event space filled with exposed brick, vaulted ceilings, open beams, and concrete floors.  SKYLIGHT hits the nail on the head when it comes to “urban” – with a garage-door styled backdoor that opens to the cocktail hour allowing an indoor/outdoor event flow, and room for food trucks to park.  One of the coolest parts of this venue space is it’s 24 hour rental time, so your guests can enjoy the downtown feel all night long!

1280 25th St, Denver, CO 80205

The Ramble Hotel is located in the RiNo district of Denver, so your out of town guests would have no shortage of charming spots to visit before heading in to your wedding.  This boutique hotel houses multiple intimate event spaces ideal for smaller wedding events – like a classy, chic welcome party with rooftop drinks.  Speaking of drinks, make sure your guests check out the incredible craft cocktail bar inside, Death & Co., and definitely take a couple portrait in front of that beautiful bar!

5. Moss
200 Santa Fe Dr, Denver, CO 80223

Clearly the Arts District of Denver is a great area to find a venue to host your downtown wedding, because Moss can be found on Santa Fe Drive, too.  According to the Moss website, the founders are experienced in decorative woodworking, welding, and metalworking and created the venue with the intention of building something unique and magical. These photos prove that to be true, and our favorite part is the moss covered wall – breaking up the typical urban exposed brick and giving a gorgeous backdrop for your downtown Denver wedding.

6. Denver Botanic Gardens
1007 York St, Denver, CO 80206

Deemed an “urban oasis” in Denver, The Denver Botanic Gardens at York Street contain 24 acres of lush greenery & unique venue spaces for all sizes. If you love the urban feel, but also want to be surrounded by nature, you can get married inside in the iconic dome of the Boettcher Memorial Tropical Conservatory. This venue is close to all that downtown Denver has to offer, meaning your guests can experience the city in the same weekend they get to have a special experience surrounded by greenhouses & picturesque gardens.

We had to give our classic couples a true hotel wedding option for downtown Denver!  The Source Hotel has a large ballroom, room blocks for your guests to stay onsite, and all of the convenience and charm of a beautiful hotel wedding.   However, the hotel has a “distinctly urban industrial vibe” with operational garage door windows, a rooftop for cocktail hour with a view of the Denver skyline, and of course – a breathtaking Rocky Mountain Front Range backdrop to remind your guests that while Denver has the city feel, it’s still in our beloved Rocky Mountains!
