Cocktail hour is one of our favorite hours, and what guests doesn’t love a good snack with their delicious drink?!  Passed & set hors d’oeuvres are a great way to keep your guests eating with their alcohol and help them wait through any dances or toasts before they get their meal.  Your appetizers can be a way to show off your creativity when it comes to food, especially if you’re opting for a more traditional plated meal at dinner time.  Plus, you can use this opportunity to make it fun with a cute charcuterie spread or build-your-own stations!  Keep reading for our list of 8 tasty hors d’oeuvres to get your guests talking after you tied the knot!

1. Watermelon & Feta Bites

Perfect for a spring or summertime wedding, feta watermelon cubes are a refreshing combination of sweet and savory – giving your guests a full mouth of flavor in one bite.  They make for a great easy passed app that won’t make your guests full before dinner!

8. Charcuterie Spread

A table full of cheese, crackers, and crudités is calling your name!  This is one of our favorite options during cocktail hour, because it can be set up really beautifully for great detail photos to add to your wedding gallery, and it’s just fun for guests to be able to pick over!  Having a set station like this can help keep the bar line from getting too long, too.  Plus, your charcuterie designer can literally make it look like a CAKE made out of cheese like these gorgeous Cheese Towers from incredible luxury grazing caterer Brie & Banquet Wild Catering Co.  *Almost* better than your wedding cake, if you ask us!
