As it turns out, you don’t have to go far to have a true honeymoon getaway. Here in the Rockies, we’re lucky enough to house countless of incredible resorts and boutique hotels – many with unique architecture, breathtaking views, and convenient access to incredible outdoor activities. Whether you want to relax or explore on your honeymoon, The Rocky Mountains have it all, and we’ve compiled a list of eight destinations right here at home that would make for magical honeymoons. Keep reading to plan your post-nuptials getaway in one of the most beautiful areas of the world!
Located in the heart of Banff National Park, the world-famous Fairmont Banff Springs is a landmark in the picturesque alpine town of Banff, Alberta. The resort is deemed Canada’s “Castle in the Rockies” – and for good reason. This magical dreamland of a resort would be the perfect way to start married life – in a heated pool, a luxurious room, and nearby so much natural beauty to explore.

One of the most magical parts of this area of the Rockies is the stargazing – the town is located in a dark-sky reserve so light pollution is at a minimum, making for an extra romantic experience to enjoy.
