1. Plan with Professionals

Whether you’re planning an intimate I do or lavish party for all of your friends and family, finding the right professionals to assist in your wedding planning journey is just the beginning. While the Aspen Chamber is not a wedding planner, they do have a list of local planners that can take the reigns on planning your perfect celebration. And, luckily for you, the recommendations don’t end there.

ACRA is a free resource for you and your future spouse. Utilize their blog for inspiration, tips and more.

2. Find your Dream Venue

Choosing the perfect wedding venue to start your forever at may be one of the toughest decisions. You can browse Instagram to your hearts desire, but if you want to get serious about choosing the venue that fits your needs best, ACRA is the best resource available. Their team can get you started by brainstorming venue options based on your budget and number of attendees. Once your date and venue are confirmed, you can work through their list of vendors, and they can start requesting lodging rates for you!

4. Lodging Perks

Once your event date is confirmed, ACRA can request rates (commissionable when applicable) and availability from their Aspen hotel partners on your behalf. There are two options hotels offer: space available and contracted room blocks.

Space available is a great option that provides an additional discount to your guests until the hotel reaches a certain occupancy level over the requested dates with no financial commitment from you. The earlier they book, the better rate they will secure. A contracted room block allows you to confirm a certain number of rooms at a set rate that guests can still book and pay for directly. Contact Liz directly to learn more.

Pro tip: If your wedding ceremony/reception and lodging are at separate locations, don’t forget to consider setting up transportation for you and your guests. Transportation to and from will not only be greatly appreciated but it ensures that guests will arrive on time and safely!

5. Adventures, Activities and Dining

The best part of a destination wedding in Aspen is your guests have unlimited ways to entertain themselves. From white water rafting, to mountain biking, and even an alpine roller coaster, the options are endless in Aspen!

Additionally, ACRA has a variety of sample itineraries on their website that you can direct your guests to for inspiration.
