5 Delicious Champagne Based Cocktails for Your Wedding Weekend

We’ve scoured the internet for only the best cocktail recipes, and these ones are tried and true based on recent cocktail making attempts. The one caveat? All of them contain some form of bubbly (Champagne, prosecco, you name it) because, well, we’re celebrating! The opportunities are endless, so let’s reserve these for more than the night of.

1. Earl Grey Fizz

Ingredients: Champagne, simple syrup, earl grey tea, gin, fresh lemon juice, egg white

This cocktail is elegant and balanced, with a beautiful earl grey flavour and lil’ bit of fun from the champagne. This drink is your bridal celebration embodied–sweet and sassy, all at the same time.

2. The Hugo Spritz

Ingredients: St. Germain, fresh mint, fresh lime, prosecco

We always say yes to a spritz, and this one’s no different. The Hugo Spritz is a relatively new drink, but one that has caught on in popularity across Europe. If you love an Aperol Spritz or a French 75, then this is a fun departure away from those tried and true cocktails.

3. The Garibaldi Spritz

Ingredients: Campari, fresh orange juice, prosecco

Say hello to your new brunch companion. Your usual mimosa might be sidelined once you have a sip of a Garibaldi, as the Campari adds some nice depth to the drink. Try it for your bachelorette brunch or post-wedding celebrations!

4. Classic French 75

Ingredients: Gin, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, Champagne

Though there are few ingredients, the French 75 is anything but simple. We love a good classic, and this cocktail falls into this category. Whether you’re looking to toast at your reception or wanting an afternoon pick-me-up during your bachelorette weekend, this one will do the trick.

5. Citrus Pomegranate Champagne Twist

Ingredients: Cointreau, ginger beer, Champagne, pomegranate juice, orange juice, fresh mint leaves

This is the most adventurous of the five drinks that we have mentioned today, and we love it for its versatility! The oranges and pomegranates make the cocktail fitting for the summer or the winter, and the bubbly makes it celebratory in every regard. Salut!
