Love is in the air, or rather, love is in the desert! Former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo and San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey announced their engagement on April 17th, 2023 in a stunning beautiful setting – Amangiri in Southern Utah. The secluded resort is set on 600 acres in Canyon Point surrounded by the untouched landscape of canyons, mesas, ridges, and gorges. This peaceful retreat is just a stone’s throw away from the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and Lake Powell.

Justin Alexander + Kelsey Turchi – Jackson Hole, Wyoming
CEO and Creative Director of contemporary bridal fashion Justin Alexander, Justin Warshaw proposed to his girlfriend Kelsey Turchi during a getaway trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming in March 2021. While the couple had a jam-packed itinerary of hitting the slopes, aprés-ski drinks, gourmet meals, and some well-deserved pampering, the designer knew he wanted the proposal to be epic with the Teton Range towering in the background.

We can’t help but feel a little envious of JT and Jessica’s relationship. The power-couple are insanely talented, hilariously entertaining, and active philanthropists. While they have been married for nine years and share two adorable kids together, back in December 2011, Justin proposed to Jessica on a piece of property in Montana that they owned at the time. The actress reminisced about the engagement on The Late Late Show – “We had snowboarded all day. It was in the middle of the winter. Waist-high snow. We were in head-to-toe snowboarding outfits; hats, gloves, everything. All of a sudden he gets down onto his knees and just sinks into the snow. And then he looks up at me and holds this ring and it was the most lovely, surprising, hilarious..”

Jasmine Tookes + Juan David Borrero – Canyon Point, Utah
American model and former Victoria’s Secret Angel Jasmine Tookes and Juan David Borrero, director of international markets at Snapchat were officially engaged on September 21st, 2021 in the middle of the desert rocks at Amangiri. The ultimate surprise proposal started with a car ride to Venice, California and a flight to Arizona followed by hopping in a helicopter which flew the couple to “the most beautiful, otherworldly-like secluded place in Utah,” Jasmine shares.

Heidi Klum + Seal – Whistler, British Columbia
From 2005-2014, super model Heidi Klum and British singer Seal were married. While the two have since found love again, nearly 19 years ago in December 2004, Seal proposed at 14,000 feet atop a glacier in Whistler, British Columbia with a 10-carat canary yellow diamond engagement ring.
