We adore this southwestern cake with intricate detailing, a bold pattern and real colorful florals. Maggie’s Cakes, located in Santa Fe, designed this wedding cake for a bohemian desert wedding at La Posada in New Mexico. 3: Cascading Ruffles by Dulcerella Cakes
This stunning wedding cake is featured on Rocky Mountain Bride’s blog “Delicate French Lavender Wedding Inspiration” – a styled shoot hosted at Chateau des Fleurs in Eagle Idaho. Mihaela LeCedre, the owner and the cake artist at Dulcerella, says “the cake was inspired by the dress ruffles and colors. Delicate wafer paper lace ruffles were arranged in a cascade on a background of different tones of pink, accentuated by bass relief details.”

The first resembles the southwestern designs you see on tiles throughout the area and the second resembles Bishop’s Lodge, the wedding venue where they said I do! It’s safe to say these wedding cakes were the stars of the evening!
