13 Wedding Invitation Suites To Inspire Your Stationery Style

There is so much to love about options for stationery and invitations for your wedding if you’re getting married in 2023 and 2024. Your invitations are the first glimpse of your wedding that your guests will see. They set the tone for the wedding as well as the events surrounding your wedding like your welcome dinner, rehearsal, lodging options, and things for your out-of-town guests to experience.

We have gathered some of our favorite wedding invitation suites in different styles. You’re bound to find something that inspires you to set the tone for your wedding!

When working with a stationer, you’ll typically have two different options to approach creating your perfect wedding invitation suite. Many stationers have semi-custom invitations which are pre-designed suites that allow you to select things like the weight of paper, colors, envelope lining, and calligraphy styles to create your perfect invitation suite.

There is also a custom experience in which you work closely with the stationer to craft your dream wedding invitation suite. This process allows your personal wedding style and theme to shine through. Often design inspiration comes from personal items that are special to the couple such as heirloom pottery or jewelry pieces, unique venues, or important wedding details like specific florals or dress details. Please note that custom invitations can take anywhere from 8 to 10 months to create so plan accordingly!.

Texture

One trend we love and are seeing carried out in many different ways in invitations and stationery is texture. From all over textured paper, to torn edges, to different kinds of materials like leather and fabric being used throughout the suite, texture can bring an added interest!

Water Color Art

Another trend in stationery and invitations that we think is absolutely stunning is custom watercolor art throughout the suite. From a custom painting of the location to the florals that are inspiring your wedding or even your beloved puppy, we love this special touch to invitations.

Simply Modern

If modern and simplistic is more your style, there are some amazing suites that hit the mark for this style of wedding. With a more monochromatic look in color scheme, and the addition of things like photos, unique monograms, and bold fonts we think the following suites are to die for!

Modern Retro

We also love the modern retro trend that has become popular as of late. Some of our favorite modern retro-inspired suites include geometric prints, retro fonts, muted colors, and a more simplistic design. Often lending themselves to western or boho-style weddings, a modern retro invitation suite may be perfect for your wedding!

Luxe

Invitation suites that include details like letterpress printing, calligraphy, ribbons, vellum wrap and wax seals give the feeling luxury. We love the luxe look and feel it can be translated across many different styles of weddings. If a luxurious feel is what you’re going for, we’ve got some beauties for you!
