Beyond the camera, I’m an animal lover, empath, and devoted bookworm. I have a deep appreciation for tea, historical fiction, and fantasy, especially stories featuring female leads. My days are filled with family adventures, long walks, with plenty of laughter along with the work that I love!
I am home based in Missoula, where I live with my wonderful husband, two amazing kids, and our extra large cuddly Saint Bernard mix. I adore early bedtimes, working hard, gift giving, learning about people’s experiences, and sharing good food—especially homemade Italian dinners with my in-laws. My sisters would describe me as quiet and mellow yet ambitious, kind, and excitable. Above all, I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love, surrounded by the people (and books) that bring me joy.
I earned my degree at Emily Carr University in Vancouver BC and worked for many years doing photo editing and photography in commercial studios before moving back to my hometown of Missoula. I have so much fun with my job and love that I get to share this skill I’ve worked so hard at with incredible couples around Montana!

“I cannot stress enough what an amazing job Renske did as our wedding photographer. From our engagement session, to planning all the wedding details, and up until the big day, Renske was extremely thoughtful, professional, and helpful. She was accommodating with the schedule and even willing to travel for us. And let me tell you, she is TALENTED. We were blown away at the gorgeous photos she gave us. Like, better than we could have even imagined. I couldn’t believe it. Plus, many of the photos were not easy to get. We got married in Butte, Montana on New Years Eve. It was very snowy, freezing, and temperatures below zero for a lot of the day. Not only did Renske and Kyle brave the cold for hours to get some of these beautiful shots, they had a great attitude about it.
