Timeless White Romance, a Wedding at Omni Scottsdale Resort

“Chierstin Susel (now Roth) and Mitchell Roth live in Colorado, where they are both very active members of the community. Chierstin is a TV reporter for CBS News Colorado, and Mitchell Roth is the CEO of Roth Industries and the son of JW Roth, the man behind Ford Amphitheater, Roth’s Sea & Steak and other ventures. They met 10 years ago at a bar while watching an NHL game. Chierstin, who covered sports at the time as a reporter, interrupted a conversation Mitchell was having with his friends to correct him on comments he made about the game that he ‘so clearly had wrong.’ It’s a story they love to tell and still get a kick out of. After being long-distance best friends for years, they decided to finally give a romantic relationship a shot. They never looked back, and after months of dating, Mitchell planned a breathtaking proposal at the top of a mountain in Aspen. They decided they didn’t want to wait and got married three months later in Chierstin’s home state of Arizona, overlooking the mountains that she grew up loving and exploring her whole life. They hired Chère Rosalie to plan and design their dream celebration. Chierstin attended college with the owner, Kim Pestalozzi (a former news producer turned wedding planner), and she knew there was no one else she’d rather produce her big day. The vision was lush, romantic, and timeless, enhancing but not distracting from the natural beauty of the Arizona landscape. They chose Omni Montelucia for its stunning views and elevated aesthetic. As the wedding approached, rain threatened to derail their plans for an outdoor ceremony and reception. With the help of all of their incredible vendors, they came up with multiple backup plans, including a full ballroom transformation just two days before the wedding. Fortunately, the weather cooperated just long enough for them to say I Do amongst the mountains before they headed inside to dine and dance the night away. And as the family responsible for opening Ford Amphitheater, having live music was an absolute must. So they brought in Cody Cozz, a country singer originally from Colorado, to keep the dance floor packed. They ended the evening with Cigar Bar before saying goodbye to loved ones.”
