Playful and Golden Montana Engagement Session

August 2, 2026 BY: Amy

“This engagement session in Red Lodge felt like such a special one, not just because of how beautiful it was, but because of what it meant for them. Nicole and Travis were visiting from Wisconsin and Florida over the Fourth of July, spending time with family in a place that already felt like home. I’m so glad we were able to fit in their session while they were here so that they could carry a piece of Red Lodge with them into their wedding story. We had the most beautiful setting to work with, those soft golden grasses stretching out with the mountains rising behind them. It’s one of those classic Red Lodge looks that never gets old. The light was warm, the air felt easy, and everything just came together in a really natural way. They were so relaxed with each other that the whole session felt effortless. We wandered, chased the light a bit, and let the moments happen as they came. It felt like a perfect mix of where they’re from and where they were, creating something that tied it all together in a really meaningful way.”
