“This proposal was truly one for the books, and it even had me sobbing behind my camera. Eddie reached out to me about photographing his proposal to his girlfriend, Katie, during their trip to Montana, and I was immediately all in. We meticulously planned every detail in advance: where to meet, the exact timing, what I would be wearing, what car he’d be driving…everything had to be locked in, since there’s no cell service in Glacier National Park. I watched them pull up, and I pretended to be just another tourist photographing the mountains. When I saw Eddie drop to one knee, I ran over to capture the moment. Katie’s reaction was absolutely priceless! Tears everywhere. I could feel the emotion so strongly through my camera that I was crying right along with them, even though I had never met either of them before! They have such a genuine love that is contagious!!! We spent time exploring the area and taking photos afterward, and it was so sweet watching Katie pause every few minutes just to cry again and stare at her ring.”
