Misty Mountain Engagements at Grand Teton National Park

“Sometimes the best love stories take the scenic route. Austin and I were the same age, attended Florida State University, and even studied abroad in Valencia—just one semester apart—yet somehow never crossed paths. It wasn’t until we were both 28 that fate finally stepped in, and a simple swipe on Hinge brought us together. From our very first date, we felt an instant connection, discovering not only how much we had in common, but that we even worked in the same industry. I knew then that this relationship felt different—in the best way. After a little over two years together, Austin proposed on the pier at the St. Regis in Longboat Key, following a season that tested us in unexpected ways. After spending weekends helping our families recover from hurricane damage, we took a quiet staycation to reset. Austin later shared that it was during those long, messy, exhausting weekends that he realized I was the one—because even in the hardest moments, I made everything feel lighter. The following summer, we chose to capture our engagement in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, a place that holds a special place in Austin’s heart. While his family grew up in Sarasota, Florida, they spent many summers in Jackson at their vacation home, making the mountains a backdrop to some of his favorite memories. It felt like the perfect setting to celebrate this chapter of our story—surrounded by nature, nostalgia, and the love that brought us here.”
