River Fort Ranch continues to honor its past while welcoming guests into a setting where heritage, hospitality and refined western comfort unite seamlessly. The working ranch features six flexible indoor/outdoor event spaces and an upscale 11-bedroom lodge complemented by historic buildings, a farmhouse retreat, and glamping accommodations set along the South Platte River. Our low-altitude location and ADA accessible event facilities with ample parking make it an ideal private event venue for guests of all ages.
From the moment you step foot on our property, you’ll feel worlds away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You’ll find deer and wild turkeys darting through the trees, bald eagles soaring overhead, and Longhorn cattle grazing in the pasture. It’s a true nature lover’s paradise, where you can breathe deeply and soak in the surroundings with cherished loved ones.

How did the venue become a wedding venue?
River Fort Ranch is home to a 100-acre working farm that has remained in the same family for four generations. The ranch officially opened as a private event venue by popular demand from the Northern Colorado community in 2015. From there, the property continued to grow in both vision and acreage, evolving into a luxury barn wedding venue with lodging, flexible gathering spaces, and immersive add-on experiences—all while maintaining its authentic Western roots.
