“Three years ago, I discovered the most magical flower at a local flower farm- a stunning delphinium in shades of dusty blue and soft lavender that seemed to sparkle in the sunlight. I’ve bought myself a bunch each year since then to have on my kitchen table. I knew I wanted to create something special with those flowers someday, even though I wasn’t sure what exactly. The inspiration finally took shape when I found the most incredible designer, House of Savin. Their wedding dresses are true works of art, many featuring delicate hand-painted florals. When I saw the Jenifer dress with perfect hand-painted light blue flowers, I began to envision this styled shoot that would be romantic, fairy-tale perfection. Nervous but hopeful, I reached out to the London-based designer- and to my amazement, CEO and designer Andrey Savin responded personally, saying he hoped we could work together. From there, everything began to fall into place. I began to reach out to local vendors- many of whom I’ve worked with before- and was blown away by their creativity and support. Celeste (Atwood Design) graciously stepped in to help coordinate everything and bring all these ideas to life. Seeing it all come together was so rewarding! The vendors here in Southeast Idaho are an incredible community of talented, creative professionals, and this team truly made my dream a reality. I’m so proud of how this shoot came together and deeply grateful to everyone who poured their heart into it.”
