Orofino Winery is located in the picturesque Similkameen Valley in southern British Columbia. This valley is known for its hot and dry desert-like geography, and is the designated Organic Capital of Canada. Surrounded by vineyards, orchards, and magnificent mountain views, Orofino provides a truly magical and dramatic backdrop for a ceremony and celebration. The eco-friendly winery, which includes energy harnessed from solar panels, was built in 2004 using strawbale building technology. The owners created this special place out of passion for the land. They have been producing award-winning wines from single vineyard sites since 2003. The beautiful buildings and adjacent vineyards and mountains are reminiscent of the Italian countryside. Orofino offers an intimate courtyard setting for long table dinners under the starry skies and twinkling lights. A dreamy venue for dancing the night away. There are various outdoor locations within the 9-acre property that are suited to saying “I do”. Three boutique accommodations are on site, with the capacity of 12 overnight guests, making it the perfect location for micro-weddings.
