How did you get started in the wedding industry?
Idaho Tents & Events was born from a simple idea: beautiful weddings shouldn’t be limited by traditional venues. After seeing how many couples wanted to celebrate on family land, ranches, and wide-open Idaho properties, we recognized the need for dependable, high-quality tent and event rentals that could transform any space into a stunning setting. What started as a way to help create functional outdoor event spaces quickly grew into a passion for building the backdrop to life’s most meaningful celebrations. Over time, we’ve worked with countless couples to turn open fields into elegant receptions and backyards into unforgettable ceremony spaces. Where do you find your design inspiration?
Our design inspiration comes from Idaho itself — the open skies, mountain backdrops, rolling farmland, and scenic ranch properties that make outdoor weddings so special here. We’re inspired by couples who want their celebration to feel natural, elegant, and connected to the landscape. From soft romantic lighting under a clear-top tent to thoughtfully designed layouts that frame the view, we focus on enhancing the setting rather than competing with it. We also stay inspired by current wedding trends, timeless event design principles, and the creativity of planners and couples who bring fresh ideas to every celebration. Ultimately, our goal is to create spaces that feel both beautiful and authentic — elevated, but still distinctly Idaho.
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
Our favorite part of a wedding is seeing the space come to life when guests arrive and the celebration begins. After days of careful planning, layout design, and setup, there’s nothing better than watching a once-empty field or backyard transform into a beautiful, joyful gathering place. We especially love the moment just before the reception starts — the lights are glowing, the tables are set, and everything feels full of anticipation. Knowing we helped create the setting where memories will be made is what makes it all worthwhile.
