Brock House Events | Vancouver Wedding Venue

Where coastal charm meets timeless elegance.

Perched atop a breathtaking vantage point with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, English Bay, Burrard Inlet, and the majestic Coastal Mountain stands the iconic Brock House—a beloved Vancouver landmark that has played host to a myriad of events and celebrations for over 50 years.

With Kitsilano’s iconic Jericho Beach at its doorstep, and two and a half acres of pristine garden grounds to explore, this 1912 Tudor Revival mansion envelops you in natural beauty while offering an enchanting window to the past.

Designed in 1911 by esteemed architects Samuel Maclure and Cecil Fox, Brock House has been a cherished residence, a hub of social gatherings, and even a government facility before finding its place as a premier destination for weddings and celebrations. From its origins as a private seaside retreat to its transformation into one of Vancouver’s most beloved event venues, the home has witnessed a rich tapestry of history. Brock House has stood as a landmark of timeless elegance for over a century and we look forward to welcoming you!

Love Notes
We had an incredible time at Brock House. I can not say enough about it to anyone that asks. The staff were absolutely incredible. Benson was unbelievably accommodating, patient, and cared about our needs. The rest of the support staff emulated the very same energy...they were kind, smiling, welcoming and caring to our guests. The food was displayed in a very clean and inviting way and all of it was delicious. They even packed up the remaining food for us before we left. Every one of these five stars are very well deserved....and earned. Not only was the event extremely successful but the event coordinators were very helpful in helping me plan. They were always patient, communicated quickly, and with enough detail to put my mind at ease. Thank you Brock House Events!!!

My husband and I were lucky enough to have our recent wedding ceremony at Brock House. The entire team we worked with was very friendly and professional, especially our main contact Elise. The entire planning process was very smooth and if anything ever came up, Elise was very responsive and helpful. The canapés and tea sandwiches from Peake were delicious and I am so glad they set some aside for us so we were able to have some on the day! Our wedding was in the fall so we opted for an indoor ceremony, and I was a bit disappointed we would not be able to fully use their outdoor space. However, the solarium is so lovely with gorgeous views and lighting it felt like we were outdoors anyways! It was a beautiful location for our wedding and I am so excited to see how our photos turn out!

Thank you so much for all your hard work — the evening was fantastic, and we truly loved being at Brock House. I especially enjoyed working with you; you’ve been one of the most professional and easy-to-collaborate-with venue partners I’ve had to date. You made the whole process seamless, and we’re so grateful. Warm regards, and I hope we have the chance to work together again in the future.

Fun facts

How did the venue become a wedding venue?

Brock House had always supported familial events through each owner of the original home. We do have photographic evidence of weddings that took place on site from the early 1900's! When Brock House became a programming location for Senior's, it also opened a small restaurant in the back as well. This restaurant saw the potential and decided to erect a tent to make weddings more possible on site. Although the restaurant is now closed, weddings have become an integral part of the Brock House identity!

What is your favorite part about a wedding?

Our favorite part of weddings is just after the I do where the couple gets to walk through all the love of their friends and family and get to have a private celebration, just the two of them. Everything is still new and exciting, but the laughter and kisses in that moment are always the most beautiful start to a life full of love!
