Where are you originally from?
Yakima, Washington
How did you get started in the wedding industry?
My first event was a charity event a friend asked me to bartend. I was finishing up a business degree at the University of Utah, so extra work was a welcome invitation. I ended up falling in love with events and found myself at home in this industry. Within a few short months, Copa Bar Service was launched, and I had quit my day job. Now 10 years later, Copa is lucky to have an exceptional team carrying out over 350 events a year with over 200 5-star reviews.
Do you travel for clients? If so, where?
We travel throughout all of Utah and surrounding areas, and have operated events in SLC, Park City, Utah county, Logan, Bear Lake, Zion, Moab, Kanab, Jackson Hole, Salt Flats, Wendover, and Lake Powell.
Where do you find your design inspiration?
Every couple has their own taste in cocktails which is what makes bar service so exciting. We have a signature cocktail menu for inspiration but couples often provide us with their own favorites for us to recreate. Many couples opt for a private in-home tasting session which is consistently one of the highlights of the wedding planning process!
