A Black and White Accented Resort Wedding in Arizona

February 5, 2026 BY: Amy

“Chrissy and Steve’s story started in the summer of 2021 during a visit to Arizona. A group dinner with mutual friends brought them together, and when Chrissy looked at Steve and said, ‘Sit across from me, I need something good to look at,’ it instantly set the tone for their playful connection. That night turned into more time spent together, exploring Chrissy’s home state and realizing how easy it felt to be around each other. Chrissy is driven, generous, and loves making people feel special, while Steve is deeply loyal, family-oriented, and wears his heart on his sleeve – qualities that fit together naturally from the start. Their proposal was straight out of a fairytale and exactly what Chrissy had always hoped for. She had dropped hints about a Paris proposal for years, so for Christmas, Steve surprised her with a trip to Paris for their upcoming anniversary. He planned out an entire itinerary, including what she thought was a boat ride on their first night. When they arrived near the Eiffel Tower, she was blindfolded by the team Steve had hired and guided to a beautiful setup with glowing ‘Marry Me’ letters and the Eiffel Tower sparkling behind them. It was truly magical! For their wedding, they leaned into a timeless black-and-white palette with modern, chic touches. Bridesmaids wore chocolate brown, guests arrived in formal attire, and the reception was filled with elegant details – chandeliers, black-and-white accents, checkered patterns, and black bows. Every detail came together to reflect their style and the romantic, intentional feel of their day.”
