Firepit Toasts and Alpine Beauty in a Jackson Proposal Story

December 12, 2025 BY: Amy

“Some moments stay with you long after you’ve photographed them. Brittany and Chris’ proposal is one of those moments. When Chris first reached out, his excitement was gentle but unmistakable. From the beginning, he envisioned something intimate, thoughtful, and seamlessly executed. Together, we devised a plan, and with the help of Corina and the rest of the Hotel Yellowstone team, who showed me around the property a couple of days in advance, and even secured a room for me to secretly wait in. We all helped to shape a moment that would feel as effortless as their love for one another. On the day of the proposal, I tucked myself into the room, peeking through the window until I saw them making their way down the path. Then I slipped out and hid behind some bushes. Waiting for that perfect minute where he dropped to one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him. From those first distant frames to the celebratory glasses of Veuve on the viewing deck at sunset, the day unfolded with a softness and sincerity that lingered long after the sun had set. It was one of those days that remind you why you fell in love with storytelling in the first place.”
