“Kallie and Nick were married on the beautiful Sunshine Coast this past August, surrounded by their closest family and friends. The weekend after, they celebrated with a wider group of friends through a more formal reception in Nick’s parents’ backyard. These two have been together through some tough life moments and have held each other up through grief and joy. When Kallie initially reached out to me, she told me how she hoped her day would be full of the ocean breeze, laughter from the people who mean the most, and honest reflection on the story that brought them here. The ocean meant so much to both of them, and so it meant so much to be married right over top of it on Rock Water’s dock. Their reception the weekend after was also so full of sweet memories and a true party on the dance floor.
