“Amy and Allen are two peas in one epic, traveling, dancing, good-times pod. I have known Amy for years in the Tampa, Florida vendor circuit as she is also a photographer! Our mutual desire for a more traditional market for edgier photos and couples was the basis of our friendship through Instagram DMs! When Amy got engaged, I could only DREAM of capturing Amy and Allen’s incredible relationship. I still pinch myself that I was the one chosen to photograph such a unique couple with the perfect amount of love, fun, and that little bit of edge Amy and I both dream of!! Amy and Allen’s wedding day was a perfect reflection of them. Some traditional elements, mixed with shots with their guests! Heartfelt speeches, mixed with a ‘quiet tent’ for those in attendance with kids, or those who just need a moment from the dance floor! An epic backdrop at Red Earth Venue, paired with minimalist yet funky and intentional florals that added a WOW factor to a setting and design that was already wow! There was gelato, espresso martinis, and frolicking at blue hour. There were epic portraits at Arches National Park, an amazing choreographed dance, and separate dances with Amy’s daughter, Dre. Allen, as Stepdad to Dre, had a sweet moment of gifting her a necklace before the day’s chaos kicked off! Allen also designed his and Amy’s rings, and honestly, he might have a future there!! Gosh, there is just so much more to it, but Amy, being a photographer herself, can shed even more light on the intentions behind it all if you ever need!!
