Peaceful Summer Engagements in Denver

November 15, 2025 , BY: Amy

“Cassandra and Lauren’s love story began on TikTok in early 2020, just before the world shifted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lauren posted a lighthearted video about coming out as gay, which went viral, catching the attention of thousands, including Cassandra. One of Cassandra’s friends sent her the TikTok, thinking it was funny. Cassandra thought Lauren was cute, so she reached out, and they have been together ever since. Now living in the Denver area, Cassandra and Lauren share a cozy life with their beloved dog, Nova, and three cats. When it came time to plan their engagement session, they knew they wanted it to feel personal and true to who they are, with Nova, of course, playing a starring role. Rather than opting for traditional white dresses or posed portraits, Cassandra and Lauren chose to wear outfits that reflected their everyday style and their identity as a queer couple. They wanted their session to feel natural, laid-back, and authentic. Set in an open Colorado field with Nova happily by their side, the shoot was effortless and genuine, capturing the essence of their relationship. Their story is a beautiful reminder that love can start in unexpected ways, even with a funny TikTok, and grow into something real, lasting, and full of joy.”
