“William proposed in Thailand on one of the longest zip lines in Southeast Asia. As if flying through the air thousands of feet up wasn’t enough excitement for one day, William was preparing to ask one of the most important questions of his life. On the final line, I went first, completely clueless about what was about to happen. I was too focused on making sure all my buckles were strapped. When William landed, he wasn’t shaking from the adrenaline of the ride—but from the nerves of what he was about to do. With shaking hands, a cracking voice, and a stomach full of butterflies, William got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was one of the easiest ‘yes’ answers I’ve ever had to give. To this day, we continue to give each other butterflies—no zip line needed. Our love and journey are still growing, and we can’t wait to have fun forever. Our engagement photos capture us perfectly. Working with Whitney was an incredible experience—she made sure we got every perfect shot, even in the freezing water!”
