An Unforgettable Proposal on the Boulders in Colorado

November 1, 2025 BY: Amy

“‘I met Alex in college in 2020, and we only lived about a block away from each other. In 2024, we moved to Denver due to Victor’s work. She dropped everything in St. Louis to come with. We come from very different backgrounds, but love brought us together. The proposal was meant to be very special – both of our families had secretly come in for it. A very special story for me is when she met my grandparents from Brazil for the first time, and also our first time skiing in Aspen. We have been together for four years and four months. We love to try new restaurants, travel, farmers’ markets, and just staying in to watch shows.’ Victor met me in secret at Lost Gulch Lookout to check out the area and get an idea for how the proposal would go. He was in tears thinking about how his life would change in that moment. I have never been so touched by a man who was obviously in love with his future fiancée until that moment.”
