Where are you originally from?
I was born in Japan and have called a lot of places home: San Diego, Las Vegas, Peru, and Utah. Each place has shaped who I am and how I connect with people, and I carry that sense of curiosity into every part of my work.
What do you consider your style to be?
My work is soft, timeless, and story-driven where every detail is crafted to reflect you. I specialize in sensory-friendly styling that honors your natural and unique features, using lightweight, breathable products and gentle techniques to create comfort without compromise. Think romantic, literary-inspired updos and makeup that feels as soft as your own skin; quietly powerful, never overpowering. Deeply influenced by fairytales, fantasy, history, and classic literature, I see hair and makeup as a form of storytelling. Whether you're stepping into an enchanted forest or a candlelit library, I design looks that feel lived-in, personal, and emotionally connected; like the most magical version of your real self.
What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?
I love working with couples who truly know themselves, who’ve done the emotional work to understand who they are and what matters most to them. Whether that’s through therapy, life experience, identity work, or learning to love their bodies just as they are, that kind of self-awareness is powerful. It gives us a beautiful foundation to build from because my job is essentially to illustrate the story you’ve already written about yourself. When you show up proud of who you are, the magic we create together feels honest, grounded, and deeply personal.
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
My favorite moment is the quiet just before the ceremony: You're fully dressed, the room clears, and it's just you, your thoughts, and the weight of what’s about to unfold. I'm often the only one in the room during that time, gently adjusting your outfit, handing you water, helping you take a few deep breaths. It’s an intimate, sacred pause and I’m so honored to help you feel calm, grounded, and truly present as you step into one of the most meaningful moments of your life.
