“Omar and I were married in Maysville, Colorado, at my parents’ home. It is a place that is so special to us; it is a little slice of peace. We feel safe and at home there, making it the perfect place to celebrate our wedding. That is also exactly how I would describe how Omar makes me feel, safe and at home. There was so much love and happiness packed into one space that I couldn’t even begin to describe the feeling! A literal dream. We not so jokingly say that we wish every second went by a half a second slower, we wanted the moment to last forever because it goes fast. We are grateful to our friends, family, and everyone who contributed to making the weekend what it was. We are STILL on cloud nine.
