“Andrea (Drea) and Ryan met on Bumble and when planning their perfect wedding day, envisioned spending the night with 50 if their closest people in a place near and dear to their heart. They wanted their day to be candid, carefree, and authentic. Their wedding inspiration was thoughtful, playful, intimate, effortlessly classy. Their colors were anything bright and fun! At home, their style combined style is eclectic and funky. So they wanted to bring a taste of that to their wedding. The colors being an abstract representation of their personalities. In the words of the bride – ‘The fact that everything looked so well coordinated was a happy accident.’ The couple wanted the event to feel like their closest family and friends were invited to a dinner party at their favorite place (and it just happened to also be their wedding). Sottise is already an elegant space, all they needed were some final personal touches. This included vases from their home, Drea’s mom’s hand painted cocktail table numbers, colorful bud vases put together by close friends and countless DIY crafts. They enjoyed adding thoughtful small touches (ring passing ceremony and handwritten notes with photos) for every guest to honor the role that they all played in the start of their marriage together. Ryan and the owner and chef at Sottise met professionally many years ago and became friends. The couple admire’s his business ventures and knew Sottise was the only place they wanted to get married at. It felt personal to them, being somewhere they already knew with a laid back vibe and food they loved. TJ and took their vision for the day and made everything absolutely perfect from food and drinks to unforgettable service.”
