Hey, I’m Leah—a documentary-style wedding photographer, based in the Colorado mountains. I photograph love stories all over the state (and world!), capturing heartfelt, joyful moments with a timeless, true-to-color style.
I believe your wedding day is about much more than the photos. Your day is about the abundance of love, the happy tears, the warm hugs, the carefree dancing, the belly laughs, and everything in between.
A documentary-styled approach to weddings allows you to be fully present and experience all the joy that your day brings. You live it up, and I’ll be there right alongside you to tell the story of how it all unfolded. Fun facts
What are your favorite kinds of couples to work with?
I'm here for the warm-huggers, passionate lovers, and those who don't take life too seriously. For me photography is less about the elegant venues and extravagant details and more about spending quality time and making meaningful memories with your favorite humans! I love couples who plan their wedding day rooted in intention and are equally obsessed with how beautiful Colorado is! If you love to laugh and have a kind heart, then I have no doubt we'll be friends!
Do you travel for clients? If so, where?
You bet I do!! I'll travel anywhere your love story takes you. I've shot weddings all across the country (although mountain and ocean-side venues have my heart!) and even the world. I most recently shot international weddings in Costa Rica and France.
What are your favorite activities to do in The Rockies?
I love anything and everything that is outside in nature! Skiing in the wedding off-season is my favorite, and I've traveled to 39 different ski resorts roadtripping across the US, Canada, and European Alps to do so. I think ski elopement couples are the coolest! In summer, you'll find me soaking up every second of wildflower season - hiking, mountain biking, rock-climbing, and roadtripping in our sprinter van. No matter the time of year, you'll find me always chasing a sunset and usually near an alpine lake. You name the next adventure, and I'm so there!!
What is your favorite part about a wedding?
Getting to know YOU! All of my couples are so special and unique in their own way, and I love building lifelong friendships with you! From proposals, to weddings, to maternity sessions and family shoots, it's so neat to be a small part of all those special life milestones you experience along the way. On wedding day, I love a good dance floor! Father/daughter dances always make me tear up, and seeing you let loose + just have FUN is the best! Oh and trust me, I'll be there right alongside you with all the silly dance moves too!
