“When Rene and Wade met, they instantly knew there was something special between them. Even with Rene living and owning a business in Grande Prairie and Wade four hours North living on his family farm, no distance could affect their ever growing love. For two years they travelled back and forth to see each other, soaking in every moment together. In May of 2024, as the sun was setting and Rene was in the middle of reeling in a massive fish on the farm’s pond, she turned to find Wade on one knee asking her to be his forever.
