“The day before we got married, we had our photo and video crew follow us into Zion National Park for some breathtaking shots! We were traveling from Southern California and brought our Lincoln Continental out for the wedding. We were really hoping we would have the time to drive the car through Zion and create a special moment for him and I to have for a lifetime and it did not disappoint! My husband builds vehicles for a living and one of his clients offered the Lincoln as payment for a project he had already been working on. He spent over several months repairing and fixing the car as we knew we wanted to have this car part of our big day! To have the Lincoln brought into Zion created such a rare and unique experience. The contrast of the vehicle to the backdrop of the red rock mountain, was a sight to see! My outfit for our shoot was extremely special as my mom gave me her wedding dress to do with as I pleased. I had the dress altered completely to match my wild style, but also wanted to keep some big statement pieces of the dress. I had to keep the puff sleeves and the big bow on the back of the dress. The front embroidery to the dress was also delicately repaired. It was a heartwarming experience wearing my mom’s dress while embracing the love I share with my husband. You’ll see in the gallery, the day started off with an off-road excursion with friends and we even got to take our video crew along for the ride! We knew getting married in Zion would be the best fit for us as it really let us celebrate all the things we love doing and experiencing that with our closest friends and family was unforgettable. My partner and I met through a mutual friend ten years ago and have pretty much been inseparable ever since our first trip to Ensenada on a booze cruise! Over the years, doing what we love and experiencing new places, such as traveling to Sand Hollow, Utah, is what inevitably brought us to get married in Zion.”
